Death of William C.Armstrong

Rome, July 22 -- William C. Armstrong died at 10 o'clock last night at his home on his farm at what is know as The Meadows, two miles below Taberg. he had been in poor health the past year, but had been confined to the bed only the past two weeks. Mr. Armstrong was born 67 years ago on the same farm where he died and where he had always lived. He was widely known in that section and was ? by all who knew him. He was a great student of the Bible and that book comprised his reading matter especially during the winter months, having read it through many times. Thirty-eight years ago he married Miss Sarah Campbell of Taberg, who survives, also the following children: George and William of Taberg, Mrs. Alexander Woodsides and Mrs. James Lynch of Rome. Mrs. Edward Odell and Miss Kathleen Armstrong at home; also one brother and two sisters, Aleck of Rome, Mrs. Mary L. Clark of Taberg and Mrs. Robert Russell of Lee. the funeral will be held at the house at 2 p.m. Tuesday.
