Rome -- William Smith, about 72, a native of Rome and a retired barber, was found dead at this home,
511 W. Liberty St., yesterday afternoon. His death was due to a heart ailment, from which he had been suffering for some
time, according to information obtained by Coroner Thomas A. Cox.
Mr. Smith was a communicant of St. Mary's Church.
His parents were Frederick and Barbara Peterman Smith.
Two sisters and a nephew survive, Mrs. Katie Armstrong, Mrs. Mary Breen and Jesse Armstrong.
