ROME, Dec. 4 -- Timothy Campbell, 75, a veteran of the Civil War, died this afternoon at the home of William H. Link No.
618 West Court street. He came here three weeks ago from his home in Taberg, where he was born. In 1862 Campbell joined the
Eighty-first New York Volunteers and served for three years. He was a member of Ballard Post No 551 G.A. R. of Taberg.
Surviving are his widow and one son Edward Campbell of New Hartford and two sister, Mrs. Charles Cook of Taberg and Mrs.
William C. Armstrong of this city.
