Rome, Oct. 23 Mrs. Moses Campbell, 83, died Friday at her home 306 Cortland Avenue. She had been ill for a number of
years and confined to the bed 18 months.
She was born in Ohio, her maiden name being Sarah E. Mix, and soon after her birth the family moved east and located
in the town of Westmoreland. She was married to Mr. Campbell in Taberg 67 years ago, after which they went to the town of
Lee where Mr. Campbell died in 1905, and since then she made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Abbie Elisabeth Fuller, where
she passed away.
Besides the daughter, two sons survive, Franklin, R.F.D. 3 and Edward of Lee, and there are nine grandchildren and 21
great grandchildren. She had been a member of the M.E. Church since she was 11 years old and was active, when able, in the
societies of the church.
