At her home, 69 Cooper street, at 2:30 O'clock yesterday afternoon, occurred the death of Matilda Armstrong, widow of George H. Snyder, after an illness of four weeks duration. the deceased was born in this city, October 24, 1826. She married Mr. Snyder, who died 19 years ago. Mrs. Snyder was a member of the old Bleecker Street Baptist Church. She is survived by four children, George Snyder, Mrs. Mary J. Spindler and Mrs. Charles Arnold of Utica and Charles L. Snyder of Gouverneur. She leaves also seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.
