Camden -- Mrs. Laura Whaley died in a Utica hospital Mar. 26, 1952.
She was born Dec. 11, 1873, in Carleton homestead, Mexico Rd., a daughter of John R. and Ellen Carleton. She was
married to George Whaley Oct. 10, 1901, in Camden, with the Rev. A. E. Dunham officiating. Mr. Whaley died in October, 1924.
Mrs. Whaley was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church.
Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Sara Helmer, Camden; Mrs. Merritt Babcock, McConnellsville, and Mrs. Susie Yorton,
Utica; a brother, James, Camden, and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be at 2 Saturday from the B.A. Sanborn & Son Funeral Home with the Rev. E.W.G. Worrall officiating.
Burial will be in Forest Park Cemetery.
