ROCHESTER WOMAN DIES WHILE VISITING SISTER

Theresa, Aug. 9 -- Mrs. Ida Walradt Herbison, aged 65 years, died Sunday while visiting her sister, Mrs. John S. Bates. She had been in failing health for more than two years. The cause of her death was anaomia.
Mrs. Herbison was the daughter of Abraham M. and Clarinda Hoover Walradt. She was born in Theresa and her early life was spent in this village. She was united in marriage to Louis J. Herbison of Gouverneur in 1876. The first years of her married life were spent in Theresa. Later she accompanied her husband to Pierre, S.D., where he engaged in the mercantile business. For the past 30 years she had made her home in Rochester.
She is survived by one son, Jesse J. Herbison of Industry, and two sisters, Mrs. John S. Bates of Theresa and Miss Ella M. Walradt of Watertown.
The funeral will be held at 3 p.m. standard time, Tuesday, from the home of Mrs. Bates, Rev. A. E. Race, rector of St. James Episcopal church officiating. Interment will be in the family plot in Oakwood cemetery.
