FULTON -- Cyrus E. Rice, 69, died this noon at his home on 709 Fremont street, following a week's illness. He was born in Cleveland, N.Y. and resided in Fulton for 40 years. He was foreman at Alein's Excelsior Mills. Mr. Rice was a member of First Methodist church.
Surviving are his wife Mrs. Etta Rice; a daughter, Mrs. Harold Parker, Oswego; a son, Francis of Fulton; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Bernice Ingersoll and Mrs. James McCloskey, Fulton; two stepsons, John and Edwin Campbell, Fulton; two sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Swanson of Camden and Mrs. Ida Armstrong of Mount Pleasant, also several grandchildren. The body was removed to the Young Funeral Home.
