FULTON -- C. Frank Rice, 69, of 256 N. Eighth St., died Monday in Lee Memorial Hospital after a short illness.
Mr. Rice was born in Sterling and had resided in Fulton most of his life. He was a retired automobile salesman, formerly employed by the Burton and Loomis Agency.
He was a U. S. Army veteran of World War II and served overseas. He was a member of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars and attended the Methodist church.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Gladys Rice, a daughter, Miss Ruth Rice of Fulton; a sister, Mrs. Harold Parker of Oswego; two step sisters, Mrs. Bruce Ingersoll and Mrs. Fred Andrews of Fulton; a step brother, Theodore Campbell of Fulton; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in the Young and Son funeral home with Rev. Alexander Stewart, pastor of the First Methodist church officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Adhah cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
