Miss Betty Scanlon, 16 year-old daughter of Mary A. Donovan Scanlon and the late John A. Scanlon, 102 Seward Avenue, died yesterday, April 2, 1935, in St. Elizabeth Hospital after an illness of six weeks.

She was born in Utica, Aug. 8, 1916. Prior to entering UF A she attended John F. Hughes and Sunset Schools. She was a member of our Lady of Lourdes Church, the Children of Mary Society and Kappa Epsilon.

She leaves her mother, a sister, Mrs. Anthony J. Eck, a brother, John J. Scanlon; two nieces, Mary Catherine and Helen Therese Eck, Utica; several aunts and uncles.
