Mrs. Barbara Rehm

Mrs. Barbara Rehm of this village died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. George Clark in Chadwicks Sunday morning. Mrs. Rehm had been ill for three months.

She was born in Rome, May 25, 1857, daughter of the late Barbara and Fred Smith. She lived there until her marriage to Joseph Rehm, Clinton. She had lived in this village for the past 30 years, where she was a member of St. Bernard's Church and of the Rosary Society.

She leaves four children, Mrs. George Clark, Chadwicks; Fed G. Rehm, Washington Mills; Harry J. Rehm and Mrs. Harry Northrup, both of Waterville; two brothers and two sisters, Fred Smith, Rome; Mrs. Mary Breem, Rome; Mrs. Jay Armstrong, Rome; William Smith, Vernon; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral was held from the home of Mrs. Clark Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock and from the Church of St. Anthony of Padua in Chadwicks where a solemn high mass was celebrated.

Burial was in Clinton.
