MRS. DAVID DEMARSH

Mrs. Antoinette DeMarsh passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Eva Miller Friday morning, November 28, 1947, about one a.m., after a lingering illness.

Antoinette Whitford was born August 25, 1860, at East Florence, N.Y., the daughter of Cornelius Whitford and Mary Ann Fleming Whitford. She was married to David DeMarsh March 15, 1879, at Camden. They moved to North Brookfield about 35 years ago and since that time had made their home here. Mr. DeMarsh died May 9, 1939.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Eva Miller of North Brookfield and Grace Smith of Utica; two granddaughters, Mrs.. Lois Miller Beechwood of Burlington, Iowa and Mrs. Daurice Smith Leneaux of Tacoma, Washington.

The funeral was held from her late home in the village Sunday afternoon at 3:30 p.m., the Rev. Alton Parker, pastor of East Hamilton Methodist church, officiating. The bearers were Albert Ramsdell, Victor Kling, Clarence Raffauf and Charles Kling. The burial was in the family plot at Sweet's Corners Cemetery.
